Ian has been the Owner of Littlejohns since 1999. He has considerable experience in advising clients on any potential residential investments. He is a Chartered Accountant and is also the Financial Director of Fountain Court Apartments.
Alison has managed Littlejohns for over 20 years from its original base in the Old Town to its home at Tollcross. She has been involved with many of the legislative changes affecting the Rental Market. Originally employed with the ‘Scotsman’ selling Property Advertising Alison moved into Estate Agency working with several major players.
Derek lives in Kirkcaldy with his wife and two teenage daughters. Over the last 30 years he has held accounts positions for several large Manufacturing Companies. Derek joined Littlejohns in 2004 as Financial Controller and has subsequently taken on the same role for our Sister Company Fountain Court Apartments.
Born and bred in North Berwick Grant worked as a Financial Advisor before joining Littlejohns in 1998. As well as heading up the Maintenance Department he takes care of any new business streams that come into the Company and he specialises in property upgrades and client property acquisition.
Originally from the Borders, Marie joined Littlejohns in 2001 after working in retail and personnel. Working in the vibrant and busy letting department as their Property Assistant, Marie gained experience and knowledge of the Property Lettings Industry. She is now the Lettings Manager of the Letting Department.
Mary joined Littlejohns in the summer of 2011 as a Property Assistant within the busy Lettings Department. Mary relocated from Glasgow where she was employed for 5 years with a major Letting Agency. Her career has mainly been in property and the finance industry.
Scott has had 7 years property experience, previously working with Murray Beith and Murray Solicitors gaining knowledge in their Property Department. He joined Littlejohns in 2009 working as a property assistant and he has now taken on a new role as Property Viewer.
Fiona studied Sociology at The University of Edinburgh and went out to work in several different sectors before joining Littlejohns in 2006 where she is now involved in the busy Lettings Department of the Company.
Lynsey joined Littlejohns in 2008 as an Accounts Assistant after studying at University. Lynsey had a break from her employ and returned in 2010 working for our Sister Company Fountain Court Apartments as a trainee accountant and she is currently sitting accounting exams.
Hazel served 8 years in the Royal Navy working in communications with two 6 month deployments in the Caribbean carrying out anti narcotic operations and disaster relief. Hazel then worked as an Office Manager for a software company before joining Littlejohns in 2006 as part of their busy accounts department.
Since moving to Edinburgh Lynsey has worked within the Financial Industry and before joining Littlejohns Accounts Department in 2010 Lynsey worked for Azure at their Tynecastle Offices for 2 years. Her main role is the collection of rents and the day to day preparation of the rental statements for all Littlejohns Clients.
Alison worked in the Accounts Department of a Golf Club for 12 years when the opportunity arose to move to Edinburgh and utilise her financial skills in a different business. Alison joined Littlejohns in 2001 as the sole member of the Accounts Department. Since then the Team has grown to 5 staff members dealing with all the financial aspects of the Company.
After graduating from Stirling University in 2000 Richard relocated to Edinburgh to initially work in the finance sector. He then changed direction and has been involved with property in a variety of roles in Edinburgh and Australia, before taking up his position as Property Inspector in 2006.
Matthew has worked for two prominent law firms, the most recent being Murray Beith and Murray where he specialised in conveyancing and he has also turned his hand to Estate Agency, Accounts and Tax. Matthew joined Littlejohns at the start of 2010 in the role of Property Inspector, but still finds time to indulge in his passion of semi-classic car restoration.
Grant joined Littlejohns in 2008. His main role is to ensure that the busy maintenance department runs as smoothly as possible whilst maintaining high standards, Grant is a graduate of Estate Management from Napier University and has spent the last 6 years working in the Edinburgh property market where he has gained extensive knowledge.
