Tenants

We work very closely with our landlords to ensure that all properties are well maintained and meet all regulations.

Our property management team is responsible for collecting rents and dealing with any queries or maintenance issues. You know exactly who is managing your property and where to turn should you have any queries.

In fact, we are available to contact at any time through our 24-hour helpline. We are also a member of Landlord Accreditation Scotland.

    The Deposit is as follows:

    • The following are the details of how you will be required to set up the payment of the monthly rent.
      • Rent is payable monthly in advance.
      • The first month’s rent must be paid with cleared funds on your entry date.
      • You will need to set up a standing order from your account to pay your monthly rent

    Utility Accounts

We will arrange for your gas, electricity and council tax accounts to be set up when you move in. This means that bills can be sent to you directly until you move out, when we will arrange for accounts to be closed.

Don’t forget that if you are a full-time student you may be exempt from paying council tax. You should contact the Council’s Department of Revenues and Benefits to find out more.

Tenant Insurance

Tenant insurance is vital when you are living in rented accommodation. It’s your landlord’s responsibility to ensure building insurance is in place, but this does not include your personal contents and possessions, or any damage caused by you to the landlord’s fixtures and fittings.
